This beautifully appointed 2nd floor condo has a King bed in the loft bedroom and a Queen bed in the lower bedroom.

Each condo has a lanai overlooking Cove itself, the grassy lawn, the tropical gardens, the heated pool. Tiki torches, located by the seawall surrounding the Cove, lend a real Hawaiian flavor to the evenings.

Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just 8 miles north of historic Lahaina Town. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. Experience Old Hawaii in one of these 38 low-rise units surrounded by luxurious tropical landscaping.

The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) & one cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

  This trip was our second booking at Honokeana, and we booked a third stay for next year as soon as we got home. We love the small size of the complex, the beautiful common spaces and the unbeatable cove access. The units are not fancy, but they are very serviceable and we appreciate the reasonable prices. This trip we discovered a great happy hour at Kitchen 5315 just a few steps over to the next complex. We also used the BBQ grills many nights. We love the cove and cannot get enough snorkeling time. The unit needed a minor repair while we were there, and it was taken care of right away. We will be back as often as we can.

  Unit 208 is a dump. The bathrooms are minuscule, the kitchen was very poorly equipped, the kitchen cabinets should have been replaced ten years ago, the furniture on the lanai was very uncomfortable, there is no air conditioning. Cleaning of the unit when we arrived was haphazard and inadequate. If I ran the management company the rents these condos, I would insist on a total renovation of 208 before it would be offered to unsuspecting guests. Some standards should be enforced.

  We stayed for one week in unit 208. It was a great little gem and I would stay at Honokeana Cove again! Next time I think I will choose a unit that gets the sunlight on the lanai (ours was totally shaded all day). Our unit was great for everything we needed.
  The bedroom in the back has a lot of road noise, so if you want the windows open at night that's what you will hear.
  The loft at the top was nice! You don't get any road noise from there -- just ocean waves :)
  Pool was nice and BBQs were well maintained.
  We were provided with a late checkout (for a fee) to accommodate our red-eye flight home which was great that we didn't have to rush to leave by 11am.
  Nice to have a market close by that we could get groceries at. No beach at this location but one a short walk away.

  As always a magical experience. Often things are not as good as They use to be. In the case of HC they have only improved. Improved privacy, new roofing, foundations and exterior paint. Most importantly the honu are more plentiful and healthier. We spent two weeks hardly leaving the grounds.

  This unit is very nice with wonderful views. The unit looks the same as the on-line pictures and was very clean. The furniture is a bit old/dark and there is a lot of it. I don't believe 4 tables are necessary (two of which are on the lanai). Overall we love this location because it is very relaxed, a bit secluded, and yet near to several restaurants and golf.

  The unit REALLY needs to have carpets cleaned, and probably couch cushions too. Just felt kind of dirty inside. I would have less lanai furniture and perhaps a recliner. Just rather cramped to relax.

  The furniture was new and beautiful and the big front porch with a table and chairs could be used all day to view the grounds and Cove.

  Another (our seventh time since our first visit in 1994) wonderful visit. This time we had a week with our daughter and granddaughter (8) and then a week on our own to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The Cove isn't for everyone, for which we are grateful. If you want to party all night long, stay at one of the big resorts. But if you want to have a quiet time with ideal snorkelling in a family friendly atmosphere filled with Aloha- this is the place to stay. We loved the multi-generation family visitors like ourselves. Rarely do you meet a person you don't like at the weekly pups party. Why? Most seem to share similar values and are looking for a similar experience on Maui. The old school Maui atmosphere is set by Su who is the office manager- but much more. She knows how to offer a warm Hawaiian style welcome and ensures your visit is problm free.   My husband and I have stayed at this complex in various units 3 times now, and have already booked in for next year. This is a great place if you are looking for a comfortable but not high end place to stay.
  
  We have stayed in various other places on the island but keep getting drawn back to this condo, mainly due to the cove it's situated on. We're avid snorkellers and my husband is into SUPing - and the cove is so perfect for both. It's pretty luxurious to walk out the door and into the ocean!
  
  The other people staying in the units have all been quiet and respectful the last number of visits, and the management is very responsive. Yes, the units that we've stayed in could probably use some updating, but I by no means am complaining. The lawn and foliage is impeccably managed, and its a quiet little oasis in there. A 4-6 minute walk to Napili beach if you're more into a sandy beach experience.

  Great condo rentals in a beautiful location and beautiful cove. The reef system with all it's critters and turtles was very healthy, beautiful and easy to snorkel. A great experience staying here, a very attentive staff. A great place to stay for family or just a couple. The only drawback, it is on the west end of the island and it is about an hour's drive from anything on the other side of the island.

  Our group of 4 stayed here over 3 days in Maui. We loved the location - close to Kapalua & Napili, and even Lahaina but also out of the hubbub. The cove was terrific for snorkeling, and the pool with outdoor shower was nice too. We spent lots of time in the unit's lanai - perfect relaxing spot. The unit was comfortable for us (two couples), and had good common areas as well as private spaces. It was also very clean! Would stay here again.

  We loved our time in Honokeana Cove. The staff was incredibly gracious and helpful, as were our fellow guests. Our Unit was spotless, well-equipped and welcoming, and the view from the lanai, incomparable. Snorkeling with turtles is only feet away, the gardens lovely, and the setting very relaxing.

  Honokeana Cove is a magical place. It is so beautiful and relaxing with great views of the cove and Lanai. It is so easy to walk down the steps and into the cove to be snorkeling with the turtles and hundreds of fishes. The property and grounds are kept immaculately, and the units are well appointed for a comfortable stay. There is no other place on Maui like it. We return again and again.

  This condo is small but adequate for three. I had trouble connecting to the wi-fi, but the staff quickly remedied that situation. We sleep w/a window open, and this condo's proximity to the busy road was a bit problematic as one of us is a light sleeper. The overall complex is a great place to enjoy the magic of Maui, especially for snorkeling and spectacular subsets and views.

  The food was perfect. Firm beds, full kitchen, cable nice tv, large space, great snorkeling. Lots of turtles. Nice front desk staff. Live in manager / maintenance gentlemen was very friendly and helpful with things we needed. We will return. No sand beach. But napili beach is 500 yd walk away.

  We have stayed at Honokeana Cove several times. It is just south of Napili and Kapalua and just north of Kaanapali. It's a perfect location overlooking a beautiful cove. You can sit on your lanai in the morning and watch the sea turtles bobbing their heads in the water and go swim with them later on in the day. The staff, especially Su is exceptional. We would highly recommend this place. On the other hand, forget what I just said! We'd like to keep this little bit of paradise all to ourselves!

  Great location, especially if you like snorkeling with the turtles! The cove is right at your doorstep with easy access. Great views - we were lucky enough to see some whales this visit. The complex is conveniently located for restaurants and a market. Complex is nice and small and immaculately kept up, with very helpful management.   "Would we recommend this property to a friend?" NO! We want to keep this place a secret because it is great (kidding)! Quiet, great location, friendly staff, great restaurants nearby, friendly guests, this is a real gem. Swimming with the turtles in the cove was an incredible experience. We were told about this place from a friend, and have since learned that people try all kinds of different spots on Maui before they discover Honokeana - we lucked out and found it the first time - we will be back as often as possible.
