Unit #203-1BR+Mezzanine BR/2 Bath

Unit 203 is a 2nd floor, Northwest facing unit that enjoys shade year round on the lanai that directly overlooks the cove with turtles, the heated pool, and a spectacular view of the island of Molokai in the distance as well as Humpback whales December thru April. The lanai also provides a patio table and comfortable chairs for eating or just relaxing.

The Mezzanine bedroom includes a Cal-King and large bathroom with walk-in shower. Main floor bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be bridged together to make a King bed, and a full bath with tub/shower. Both bathrooms are fitted with Kohler High Line toilets. Flat Screen High Definition TV’s are in both bedrooms and a smart Samsung TV in the living room. The living room is comfortably furnished with plenty of room on an L- shape sofa and matching chair. We also offer Free Secure wi-fi in the Unit as well as free calling to Hawaii, the Mainland US and Canada.

The kitchen has Granite counter tops, modern appliances, a microwave, oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, toaster, blender and a rice cooker.

In Honokeana Cove you can enjoy some of the best snorkeling on the island. There is an abundance of green sea turtles, (it’s not a matter if you will see them, it’s a matter of how many), and beautiful tropical fish. You can also enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add one cleaning fee, damage waiver and Hawaii tax (17.962%) to all rates.

Free Parking for one vehicle. No Resort Fee. Hawaii taxes remitted by Honokeana Cove Rental Association LLC, Tax ID 067-626-5984-01. This unit has ceiling fans for temperature control.

  We had a perfect week with perfect weather in a perfect location. Of course we loved to look out at the view and to watch the turtles. We ate all over the island and visited all the shopping sites, tried seven different restaurant’s mai tais , proclaiming the Plantation had the best one. Joeys Kitchen in Napilli was our favorite dinner and The Gazebo for breakfast.
  Our favorite beach was the state park below the Ritz Carlton, it had a restaurant, bathrooms and rentals. Looking forward to a return visit.

  Well, of course, the location is phenomenal. Especially if you like snorkeling, and especially, especially if you want pretty much guaranteed sea turtles to see! 🤿
  Our place was clean and comfortable.
  The bed was comfortable.
  The upstairs water shower pressure is not great. The downstairs one was very powerful.
  My wife did not like the parking lot. And we wondered if assigned parking spaces would be better ?
  
  The pool is nice and warm!
  There is no hot tub. Not critical, but it would be nice.
  The view of Molokai is fantastic.
  There is no air conditioning (which didn’t bother us but it was about 75° each day).

  We had a lovely time!.. The unit was exactly as described and everything was in fine working order.
  Grills were clean every time we used them and the turtles were, as always, dependable companions. The Microwave did go out on us on our next to last day. We were only using it to reheat coffee and leftovers so no big deal. I checked the breaker and it had not tripped, unplugged the cord and waited 10 seconds before plugging it back in, no go. I left it unplugged and reported it to the office manger.

  The apartment was perfect for us, and more then enough room for the two of us.
  I will point out that you will need a car if you stay here since its not really near anything you can walk to. Actually, its difficult to walk anywhere since there are no side walks. All-in-all it was a lovely place and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

  Loved the property the The mellow friendly family type people who were staying there and the management both Betty and Sue. The only issue we had was the downstairs bed was hard and one side sloped down on the edge so a bit tough to sleep on. Need a new mattress and mattress topper as I believe beds are one of the most important things when staying somewhere. Other than that the unit was excellent. Gorgeous grounds with families throwing the football on the lawn, BBQing poolside, snorkeling with the turtles- so fun. Can’t wait to return.

  I returned to Honokeana with my husband after having come here as a child with my family. It was better than expected! The grounds are obviously lovingly cared for, with a lot of attention to detail while encouraging the communal participation in keeping things nice for everyone (impressive!). Unit 203 was a fluke - it was the only one available when we were trying to book, and how glad we are that we got it! Quiet, second floor and North facing also meant no afternoon sun, so we could sit on the lanai all day and enjoy views of the cove, the pool, Molakai and the many turtles and whales. We slept in the loft with it's king bed (both of us are tall) so that we could enjoy the sounds of the waves. I don't think sleeping the main bedroom in the back would be as nice, but we were just two of us, so used that room as a place to keep our clothes, etc. Well-stocked kitchen and comfy seating. Only thing we would change is all the tv-screens (and their subsequent blinky blue lights, but easy to unplug).

  Once again, we were not disappointed with our stay at Honokeana Cove! This was our third time staying at this location. The grounds were immaculate, the facilities were well-maintained, and the unit was well equipped. We love the location of this property as it is within walking distance of some of our favorite beaches (Napili for the beach/waves and Kapalua for snorkeling) in West Maui and restaurants (Merriman's and Sansai). Whenever we had a question for management they responded in a timely manner and provided excellent customer service. The views from the lanai are fantastic were we watched whales, surfers, and turtles in the cove. On sunny days we often just stayed at Honokeana and snorkeled in the cove where we saw a wide variety of fish, countless turles, and spotted an eel! Our only suggestion for the unit was that it may be time to purchase a new mattress for the king bed as it was very worn and uncomfortable. Other than that we felt the unit had very comfortable couches and a lovely shared living space. We are already thinking about our next visit!

  This is a great complex and a very nice unit. The view is wonderful. The kitchen has everything you need. However, the beds are uncomfortable. The king bed upstairs is too soft, it was not a good sleep and the twin beds have plastic mattress covers without a mattress pad that make it hot and sweaty, they need a mattress pad between the cover and the sheets.

  The Honokeana Cove property was fantastic. The private cove 8s beautiful, and the location was very quiet. The unit that we stayed in, 203, was great. It is a 2-level unit starting on the 2nd level of the building. While this provided great views, it would be nice to walk directly off of our patio to the pool and cove. The units that we saw were very well maintained and the people managing the property were amazing, from the office to the grounds. They worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable. The 33 units are all individually owned and are kept nicely decorated. The person making you feel most at home is the rental manager, Su Campos. The Cove is such a special place that we hate to share it with more people, but it really is "Maui's Best Kept Secret!"

  So beautiful, so peaceful, just perfect. #203 is perfect for a family of 4, our 2 daughters loved snorkeling every morning. Don't even bother paying for a snorkeling expedition, everything you need to see is right in front of your condo, Molokini is over rated. Close to other beautiful beaches also ie Napili beach is a 50yard walk north, the Gazebo restaurant is right around the corner. You can't beat the location of Honokeana Cove, quiet, clean, kid friendly, centrally located, snorkeling with turtles all day, cant beat it. Highly recommended

  At Honokeana Cove one is made to feel very welcomed with a fantastic staff at the office. The grounds are beautiful and the Cove is amazing. We have been coming here annually for 20 years. We have snorkeled all over Maui and, in our opinion, it is one of the best snorkeling sites on the island.This year we saw a white tipped shark, a barracuda, a moon crab, an octopus, eels, and many, many green sea turtles. Of course there are all the other tropical fish as well. The condos are all individually owned and all have ocean views. The owners take pride in keeping their condos well furnished and the kitchens well equipped. We hesitate to recommend this place so highly because it is a cozy and friendly place to stay and we want it to remain that way! You can't go wrong with Honokeana Cove Condominiums!

  We arrived and the unit was spotless. The twin beds were downstairs, which was perfect since my cousin and I did not want to climb the stairs. There was plenty of snoring equipment and we left two floaters for future use. There was also a small cooler which came in handy for our road teips.
  The only negative was that there were large boxes in the closet which severely limited our ability to hang clothes.

  We have returned to the Cove many times for good reason: It is simply gorgeous and comfortable. Once we arrive we rarely leave the property except to stroll up the coastal trail or walk to a better sunset spot. Because we visited a bit later than usual this year, the sunset was not visible from our property. No problem, we just grabbed our cocktails and walked next door. When the only problem you experience is a lazy ice maker, you know life is good!

  Honokeana Cove is one of Maui's hidden treasures. This was our third time staying here and if you love to snorkel as we do, this place offers easy access to the water and turtles galore. You can even see them beach themselves at times. The condo we stayed at was comfortable and well stocked with an incredible view. The only thing that kept me from giving it all 5 stars was the north swell that rolled in near the end of our stay which caused huge waves and prohibited us from snorkeling. That can't be blamed on the condo and is a rarity, but otherwise the stay was fantastic.

  We love the cove. If we didn't go anywhere else while we were on the island, we would have still had an amazing vacation. Our suite was beautiful and overlooks the lovely cove. You could easily spend your days watching the ocean, looking for signs of whales; snorkelling and swimming with turtles; sitting by the pool and reading, or visiting with the other guests. But, it is Maui, after all, and there's lots of other things to do, too, and Honokeana Cove, like everywhere else on the island, is not too far from anything. It's 10-15 minutes out of Lahaina, a half hour to 45 minute drive to the south side of the island, and 45 minutes to an hour's drive to the north side... all lovely day trips. After driving the Road to Hana, hanging out at the beach or shopping, we loved coming home to the cove and relaxing with a BBQ and a beverage. Once you go, you'll be like us, and not want anyone else to know about this special little place. I'm only doing this for Su, the rental manager... who is also special and in her laid back way, makes sure we're all taken care of and able to have a relaxed, easy time at the cove. (Don't miss being at home on Wednesday evenings for the Pupu Party - you'll meet lots of great people, making you feel even more at home in this little community.)

  There are many location in Maui to snorkel and watch turtles, but this is one of the 100% guaranteed for the best snorkeling experience and turtle watching. There are about 30 turtles and some beautiful fish.
  
  The management folks were very professional, helpful and courteous.

  What better accolades can we give to a property than to explain that we own a condo on the beach 25 miles from Honokeana Cove, but still occasionally leave it to visit here. The location is perfect, the snorkeling is perfect, and the manager, Su, is always
  ready to help. I wish we had a rental manager like her at our place.The condo was clean, and very, very well equipped. A drawer with some spare batteries for your accessories....lids for the Tervis cups....the list of unexpected niceties goes on and on.The
  snorkeling is excellent, and the ocean at this location provides a never-ending display of the changing forces of nature.You will, very simply, love it.

  Fantastic - love the location - size was great for our family of four. Cove cannot be beat. Office staff wasn't mean but wasn't overly friendly either. That's my only criticism. A little warm upstairs too!

  Honokeana Cove is quiet, serene, unbelievably beautiful and a swim with the turtles is just outside your door. The on sight manager, office manager and ground maintenance are all top notch. Our condo was clean and well appointed, with a jaw-dropping view. We will leave the crowded high rises to the noisy crowds and take this laid back Hawaiian life style any day.

  18 years going to The Cove. Third stay in unit 203. Other than being on the second floor this is a well appointed, well taken care and one of the most comfortable units available in the rental program. And, we have already booked 203 for next (2015) year, second floor withstanding.

  This is the 4th time our entire family has stayed at Honokeana Cove. Obviously, we all love the place. We rented a total of 5 units. Most of the units have been upgraded beautifully. The one we stayed in this time was fine, with the best view in the resort. The owners could improve on a few things to make it even more enjoyable--like the loft stairs. It was difficult for us to get up the stairs because of the depth of each one. I believe they are actually a safety hazzard. The owners need to add at least 2 or 3 more stair steps to make it comfortable to go up them. Would I stay at Honokeana Cove again? Certainly--but not in unit 219 for the reasons stated. Sorry, but this problem made our stay this year much more difficult and not as enjoyable as it could have been.

  What a wonderful place to stay on the beautiful island of Maui. Our condo was perfect for the four of us with a lania that gave beautiful views over the cove and out to the other islands. Swimming in the cove was great and the snorkeling was wonderful. It's very peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

  Only minus is that we expected a "kid free" environment. It should have been as the cove is not as kid friendly as other resorts/condos. One family in particular that brought their two very young children did not seem concerned that their kids were possibly irritating other guests. The manager, Sue Campos, was great!

  Honokeana Cove is our home away from home. The location doesn't get much better...just steps away from the Cove with honu everywhere you look. The units are clean and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate with such a tropical feeling. But the reason we keep coming back to the Cove is the spirit of Aloha.   We so enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a place that would allow us to get in a lot of snorkeling, and we found it. The snorkeling in Honokeana Bay is fantastic! The turtles swam with us, the fish were varied and delightful. And we could walk into the water right in from of our condo! The apartment itself was delightful. Open and airy, clean and comfortable.   Brian and I had a wonderful time returning to the cove! We were married in Maui 10 years prior and stayed there for our honeymoon and then again a year later.
