Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just 8 miles north of historic Lahaina Town. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. Experience Old Hawaii in one of these 38 low-rise units surrounded by luxurious tropical landscaping.

The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances. Holiday Season (December 20 to January 5) bookings are not refundable.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) & one cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

Free Parking for one vehicle. Hawaii taxes remitted by Honokeana Cove Rental Association LLC, Tax ID 067-626-5984-01. This unit has ceiling fans for temperature control.

This was the first time in this unit. Amazing views. Loved the layout. The second bedroom has no closet so could use a place to hang a few clothes. Some hooks on the wall?

  We have stayed at Honokeana Cove condos, in several different units over 30+ years. We keep coming back for the location, the swimming and snorkeling, the helpful staff, and the relative quiet.
  Location and view makes this unit well worth the downsides. They need new mattresses, a new sofa, a complete set of dishes, glasses, and flatware. If you like to cook, you’d feel a lack of cooking utensils. There is only one closet, so you have to share it with the folks in the other bedroom.
  Having said all that, I would stay in this unit again, due to its privacy and view.

  a splendid sojourn in a beautiful location. our unit was situated at the end of the complex which gave us much appreciated privacy. the view was inspiring: turtles and surfing on the ocean side and a green wall of plantings on the other. an unexpected plus was the huge tree to the right of the lanai which was home to butterflies and scores of birds. we were walking distance from napili and kapalua beaches, perfect for swimming and snorkeling and terrific places to drink and eat. the walk that starts at merriman (an amazing site for dinner or a drink) was glorious and the ritz carleton beach side cafe at the end served our aesthetic and physical appetites. all in all, a memorable stay.

  Stressful day one during "Covid" It worked out but we did not realize only a few hotels require extra proof of neg covid test. Most trust Safe Hawaii and the airlines. We were unable to upload our neg tests day of flight for them and could not get them to answer phone. Thus did not know if we could get a key.
  Condo 120 absolutely stunning views. Needs new (more)dishes. Also no cleaning during Covid. Other Condo we stayed in was cleaned every 3 days.

    Aloha Linda, We are all under a blanket of stress during this pandemic. Our duty to our guests and and staff is to make sure everyone at our property remains safe and healthy. The Federal CDC has put restrictions on housekeeping. We normally will provide one maid service once a week if you stay for ten plus nights.   We have been staying at the cove since 1992, and have stayed in approximately a dozen units over that time, and have enjoyed each and every stay. We were surprised when unit #120 did not live up to the rest of the complex's standards of excellence. While the unit was clean it showed much wear and tear- both bathrooms are in desperate need of remodeling and upgrading. Both upstairs screen doors were separated from their frames and flapping in the wind (staff quickly fixed this). Our bedroom door would not close properly, and the shades on the lanai's would not attach to the railing, unlike the other units. The amenities in the unit were merely adequate compared to other units. On top of this, the higher rate, supposedly for the extra square footage, a half bath and a useless foyer, was not worth it. Will return, but not to #120.

  We went to Honokeana Cove last year and decided we wanted to go back. I fell in love with the turtles. The cove is full of them. I called Sue (the manager) to get a condo and all she could give me was 3 days in the townhouse. She is a gem also. She makes sure everyone has what they need. It was a wonderful place. The townhouse was all you could want. Everything was perfect. Only problem was having to leave.

  Since there were only two of us, this unit was way more than we needed, but it was the only one available during the dates that worked for us. We loved the location at the far end of the property. It gave us complete privacy (when we wanted it), a fantastic sunset (in March) and turtles sunning themselves on the rocks literally right under our upper and lower decks.
  
  The unit had a bit of a tired look and definitely needs a redo. There was peeling paint on the ceiling above the dining room. The smaller downstairs bathroom had such a musty (moldy?) smell, that we kept that door closed for our entire stay. The first time we used the shower in the other bathroom, water backed up badly. When it finally drained, I could see that it was clogged with hair immediately below the drain, definitely a housekeeping issue. A visit to the office got this quickly remedied. Su and her assistant were great in handling everything from our reservation, made by phone, to our departure.
  
  The grounds are lovely and obviously well kept. We barbaqued often and everything worked great. Both of us are ocean swimmers and snorklers, and we found the entry into the water very difficult, and the murky water near the shore combined with the rocks under the surface, made getting out to swimable depth an "adventure".
  
  We wouldn't stay here again, as we love Napili Bay, but couldn't find anything that fit our availability. We've already booked there for next May-June.

Unit 120 such a great location here at the Cove. The snorkeling can differ from day to day depending on rain and waves. We actually have a safe entry way into the Cove on the far South of the Cove.   We love unit 120! We have stayed in this unit several times. It has a great location, lots of room, very attractive, quiet, incredible views, etc. Just one thing: the king-size bed in the larger bedroom really should be replaced. It has seen better days. It has rather poor support, and the four-inch foam pad on top just makes it worse. Otherwise, we were very happy with this unit.

  The property was gorgeous. Sea Turtles truly everywhere. Saw whales in the distance. Flowers and grounds were immaculate. Easy access to a shopping center with wonderful grocery store, Nipili Market and other food choices. Unit 120 was nice enough, but there were things about it that could use some work. Inside of coffee maker was dirty, glasses in the cupboards foggy/smeary also. There was a closet in the twin-beds bedroom that had tools/supplies in it and smelled so I did not want to hang my clothes there. Nor did I want to put my clothes in the dresser, so the room stayed cluttered with not much room for my suitcases. I could have used an additional pillow, alas they were in that smelly closet. Also, the internet worked but the signal was so weak we always relied on our 4G signals. So basically it did not work. They provided a help number to call, but I'd rather die than call a number like that while on vacation. I would absolutely stay at Honokeana Cove again, and recommend to others, but I would choose a different unit.
