  We LOVED staying here! The condo is an end unit and is spacious. It has a lot of windows so we got a nice breeze. No a/c unit. The unit also has beach umbrellas, kick boards, beach chairs and other toys. We purchased 4 swim noodles and left them in the unit for other renters to enjoy. We heard traffic noise at night because we had the windows open. Property management is very kind and responsive. We would definitely come back! There were so many turtles in the cove when we went snorkeling. Great place!

  We toured most of Maui during our stay, but our favorite was our stay at the Cove. I know that all four of us went in the cove at least once a day, but my daughter and I went in two, sometimes three times a day. Our favorite day on Maui was the day before our flight - we stayed at the Cove all day.

  I had wanted to stay here for a while and this year was the year we finally stayed! It was everything I hoped it would be. The cove is filled with Turtles. If you like them as I do, your excitement might match mine but I doubt it. lol. The condo #117 was perfect for us with a good sized kitchen and two bedrooms. There is only one bathroom but the four of us sharing it was no problem. The condo's were all facing the ocean which is a big plus to me and there are not a lot of them and that is another plus to me. People with young children might want to be aware of the no ball playing on the grass and there is no sandy beach. However there is a wonderful big sandy beach right next door. Would I stay here again? As a matter of fact, we are planning to stay here next year. I want to share my love of this condo with my brother.

  We had a great vacation. It was our first time in Maui and it was beautiful. There were sea turtles in the cove we snorkeled with the turtles. They even came on the beach for afternoon naps. The condo was nice and it was great to be secluded from tourists. It was quiet and the other guests we talked to stayed at the same condo every year. One told us it was her twentieth year staying at Honokeana. Cove. The accommodations were nice with ceiling fans and great air flow no need for air conditioning. The breeze from the ocean was perfect. The kitchen was perfect for our breakfast and lunches and snacks. We ate dinner out so we could go site seeing.

  If easy access to amazing snorkeling is what you are looking for this is the perfect place. The property was stunning and the cove was so abundant with sea life that it trumped every where else we have snorkeled on the island. However, the unit itself was not well cared for or stocked. We were provided very minimal supplies for four people which ended up meaning we had to provide our own toilet paper in the last few days. The unit was a little rough around the edges (cabinets falling apart, pots and pans I wouldn't put in my camping box they were so scratched and warped) not anything that bummed out our trip too badly. The property was so great that with the units downfalls we were too relaxed too care too much. We just used the grill out back instead and were plenty happy. We will definitely return to Honokeana Cove!

  Overall a great stay. One complaint (closet and cupboards were locked in second bedroom) we would have been ok for a cupboard but not the closet too. As it was we were 4 crammed into a small closet packed with the owners other junk.

  The particular condo I stayed in lacked some amenities. In one bedroom the closet was locked, there was only a small dresser, and no hooks to hang things. We all had to share the closet in the other bedroom, which only had about 2' of hanging space and again no hooks. The kitchen was not well supplied, particularly the selection of glasses. There also was no hair dryer. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay!
