Our one bedroom condo at Honokeana Cove has been furnished to comfortably sleep two people.
The kitchen is completely furnished for preparing all meals or you can use any one of the three BBQ's that overlook the cove and watch the whales or beautiful west Maui sunsets.

Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just 8 miles north of historic Lahaina Town. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. Experience Old Hawaii in one of these 38 low-rise units surrounded by luxurious tropical landscaping. The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection.. All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits all payments. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) and one cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

Free Parking for one vehicle. No Resort Fee. Hawaii taxes remitted by Honokeana Cove Rental Association LLC, Tax ID 067-626-5984-01. This unit has ceiling fans for temperature control.

  We have stayed at Honokeana numerous times, in many other units. This one is in excellent condition (updated in 2018), tastefully (not over-) decorated, well-stocked, spotless, and only a few steps to the pool and cove. As always, loved snorkeling with the turtles. Enjoyed seeing lots of whales in the distance, off the coast of Lanai (thanks to the powerfull binoculars!) The landscaping and overall condition of the grounds continue to be excellent.
  
  We debated whether we should visit Maui 5 months after the fires, but were glad that we did. The makeshift memorials along the bypass road were heart-breaking, as were the distant views of the remains of the beloved city. We were able to find two places to volunteer.
  
  It seems that the visitors are now (super) concentrated in other, smaller tourist destinations. We struggled to find parking in Paia as well as Whaler’s Village. (Go early!)

  These condos are almost always fully booked. Their condition depends on when and how the individual owners decide to decorate. We spent the last week in unit 102, which was remodeled 4 years ago and is very close to the water. I always bring an electrical extension for recharging portable devices and I needed it in this unit and most places that I stay.

  Exactly as described but better!!! Tons of turtles in the cove, maybe 15 at a time, and you could whale watch from the porch so easily! The resort was nice, parking and the pool were great!   We just got back from our second visit to Honokeana Cove. Unit 102 is about as close to the cove as you can get! We enjoyed the great access into the cove for snorkeling with the sea turtles during the day and loved the sounds of the cove at night.   We went to the cove for our 6th wedding anniversary...and boy did we have an amazing time! Honokeana Cove is truly paradise, and Unit 102 took it to the next level, being recently remodeled with all the amenities! We fixed breakfast every morning and set on the lanai enjoying the peaceful cove. Then we'd grab the snorkel gear provided in the condo, and swim with the green sea turtles and fish every day! We only left the cove one day out of the seven days we were there...because the cove is so all-inclusive. Such big decisions...Pool or Cove??? Well we did both every day, and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets every eve right from the cove. It truly was a restful and relaxing vacation...and we just wish we would have stay 10 days vs 7.   We loved our little condo! We stayed in unit 102, which was incredibly close to the water and fairly private. The patio was in the shade in the afternoons, which was a bonus. The cove was lovely, turtles everywhere. There was snorkeling equipment in the condo for use. We rented paddle boards from the store two doors down and I was able to carry them straight to the condo with no problems since it was so close; there was plenty of storage room on the patio for them. Napili Beach (I think) was less than a 1/2 mile walking distance, and we rented beach chairs for the day from that same store two doors down. (BTW, I highly recommend that store over the other one further away, much friendlier.) Right on Napili beach was a great restaurant, (Sunset Terrace maybe?) that we walked to on our first night there. The condo needs remodeling, still in the 80's, but it was very clean and user friendly. It was exactly what I expected from the pictures. I did read that it will be getting a facelift in September, however. Can't wait to see what the owners do to it! Most of the people we met at the condo complex have been going there for years, and I can see why. We also loved that it was a small complex. so it never seemed crowded. We will definitely be returning!

  Loved this condo-we could see turtles in the Cove from the lanai! Also, kitchen was really nicely equipped-Henkel (sp?) knives and great pots (Circulon?). The shower was kinda funky in that it turned on low-and if you didn't have the shower doors right water went all over. Screen on lanai needs repair. Had same problem with the 4 slice toaster as in the first unit we stayed in, but there was a 2 slice we could operate. Some of the electrical plugs worked on and off...but overall, loved staying here!!

  In general we were pleased with our stay. The unit was in a good location which made outside access easy and quick. The unit has a strange mixture of kitchen items and use of closet space was not user friendly. Specifically, the closet contained some items which we had to remove to be able to use the hanging space.   Honokeana Cove is a hidden gem. Unit 102 is the perfect location, having sun in the morning and the lanai is shaded in the afternoon. We could walk out our unit and easy access snorkeling was right outside our door! The cove is full of green sea turtles and the water in July was calm and clear. Property is well maintained and the management was great. Unit 102 is very comfortable, though not recently updated. No complaints and we would chose this unit over fancier ones because of the location.

  It was the "liveliest" stay I have had there. Much activity and noise from the guests on the end unit. Loud talking (not angry, just loud). A football hit my lanai and hit my binoculars, everyone at the pool gave me a very innocent look. There was a drone that flew in the pool area seemingly guided by someone nearby. My last two days were more restful.

  We were just steps away from the water and had a great view of the cove from our porch. The grounds are kept beautifully...we have some lovely pictures of the plants and flowers. The unit inside left a bit to be desired. It really needed a good cleaning out...there was no room in the closet to hang clothes and we had to search through cupboards to find kitchenware we needed. Nevertheless our stay was made wonderful by the warm and courteous staff and watching the turtles and human waterfolk in the cove. We truly love Honokeana Cove and hope to visit again.

  Honokeana Cove is a lovely property. The grounds are well maintained and delightful. The cove excellent for snorkeling and turtle watching. Unfortunately, unit 102 was less appealing. It is in need of some TLC and updating. Many of the appliances need replacing. (Ice maker did not work, hair dryer and microwave very old, ceiling fans noisy, closet almost unuseful due to all the clutter and stuff in it, bed lumpy- sloped towards middle, shower controls very low and shower nozzle hit mid body, table on lanai missing tiles, etc, etc, etc,)

  Loved our stay at Honokeanu Cove condos. A great property with amazing snorkeling with fish and turtles. The property is amazing with views from every point. Wed. pupu nights were a fun way to meet others. Sue and Crystal take great care of this secure and private property. All units are individualized and our 209 was a bit dated but worked well for a family of four. Some updating and decluttering would be great. All in all a great property.   The bed in the unit needs to be replaced, it is worn out. There were deep depressions in the bed giving me a backache most mornings. The condo was simple but clean. The screen door screeched when we opened and closed it. The condo above had the same problem with their door, it sounded like something was being dragged across the floor.

  We had a fantastic 6 days. The condos view was perfect and it was just a few steps from the stairs to the water. Turtles were in abundance and the snorkeling was excellent.
  
  The condos interior is a bit dated, but it had the island feel. The kitchen had all the necessary was well appointed. There was even beach chairs, noodles, swim board and beach umbrellas to use.
  
  The manager was very helpful and made us feel like we lived there. The BBQ and pool area was immaculate.
  
  Many return quests...some have been coming for years. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to Maui.

  We stayed in unit 102 (1 bedroom). The condo was complete. The only thing I wish it had was a ceiling fan in each room (given no air conditioner). I loved being off or away from the pool, yet I would still wake to the sound of children playing/yelling in the pool. The bedroom in this unit is toward the back do I couldn't hear the ocean at night. We considered sleeping on the what we thought may be a pull out couch, but it didn't pull out. The cover itself is amazing! Wonderful snorkelling! Easy access to the water too. The landscaping was nicely kept. There are very sweety personnel at the front desk. The washer and dryer were clean (joint use). My favorite thing about the condo was the location. The cover is the best! Lovely.

  Honokeana Cove resort is a beautiful, well-maintained complex with a very helpful, friendly, and professional staff. Our condo was nicely furnished and very comfortable, with a lovely view of the cove and Molokai island, just as it was described on the Internet. The weekly pupu parties are a fun way to meet the other guests. Su, the office manager, and Greg, the on-site manager, are very pleasant, efficient, and helpful. We had some wonderful meals at the nearby Seahouse restaurant and Pineapple Grill. Also enjoyed a sunset dinner cruise on the Maui Princess, a whale watch trip with the Pacific Whale Foundation, and Warren & Annabelle's magic show. Having done a lot of sightseeing on previous vacations on Maui, we spent the majority of this trip just "enjoying the view". We would definitely stay at Honokeana Cove again.

  Our stay in condo #102 was very comfortable and enjoyable. The incredible view of Molokai from our lanai was breathtaking. The sounds of the rolling waves as they splashed against the sea wall was refreshing and relaxing. Upon arrival we had a problem with the toilet, but it was quickly taken care of by the on site manager. Our neighbors were very friendly and cordial. I would recommend this place to any couple who wants a wonderful Ohana Hawaiian get away on West Maui far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps you typically find in any resort town.

  Stayed in #102 in November of 2014. Was great! Best snorkelling anywhere right in front of patio. Sand beach just a three minute walk around the corner. Quiet, secluded, friendly. Just for FYI, Unit #102, and the ones beside it, did not have sun on the patio at all, no view of sunset, but did have great view of bay. There was no safe in room, but did not feel that one was needed either. No air conditioner in #102, but again, with the breeze it was not needed.

  We rented Unit #102, which had a great view of the cove from the lanai. We sat with our coffee and watched the turtles appear. We were only a few steps from the calm water, where we enjoyed the fish and, of course, the turtles. The management was extremely helpful when we had a problem with the screen door and when we couldn't get WiFi. Both problems were solved quickly. I will be back.

  The location is gorgeous, quiet, and well-maintained. We enjoyed snorkeling twice daily, observing large turtles, eels, and other fish. We enjoyed grilling our food while watching the sunset. An extremely beautiful and relaxing stay.
