Beautifully remodeled(11/22) for welcoming ambience, this newly updated second floor unit is light and bright, featuring bamboo and teak cabinets, LVP flooring, and updated furnishings for your home away from home. This is a 2nd floor Unit. The master bedroom has a King size bed, air-conditioning and streaming TV. The loft bedroom has a California King size bed, air-conditioning and a spacious attached bath/dressing room. The kitchen has everything you need to make your favorite meals, there are barbeques onsite to cook up that fresh catch, or there are several great restaurants within walking distance.

Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just 8 miles north of historic Lahaina Town. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) & one cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

  We love The Cove...it’s the only place we stay on Maui. It was different staying on this side of the complex but we enjoyed it. Luckily this unit had AC in bedrooms if needed to cool the rooms off during hot spell or to knock down the humidity while getting ready to go somewhere. It was a well equipped unit, including 4 beach chairs. Unit was nicely remodeled and very clean.

  Honokeana is a hidden gem. This is our first time here and it was a joint vacation with my sister and her husband who have been here several times before. We had an upstairs unit that included a loft with adjoining bathroom. It was just me and my wife but this could easily accommodate 2 couples or a small family. Unit #215 was fairly updated which we prefer and had everything you might need to cook meals. There are also 3 BBQs overlooking the bay and these were used by us and just about everyone else the entire week. This saved us TONS of money as we did not visit a restaurant or fast food during our stay. Location was safe, quiet and never felt crowded despite having about 40 units. The cove was easy to access via stairs and we snorkled and paddle boarded several times daily. Tons of turtles and fish at all times. Close to Lahaina and Kapalua too!

  Honokeana Cove is a unique location because of the excellent snorkeling and sea turtle viewing on the cove. The unit (215) was alright, though the furniture is in urgent need of updating. The sitting room table had fold-down panels that did not open to a flat position. The panels on each side slope down. The TV was small and hard to use. The decor is eclectic. The most difficult part of all the street-side units is the noise from passing vehicles that need new mufflers. For good ventilation one wants to have the windows open, which makes it hard to shut out the roar.

  I love the Cove and it brings a lot of memories to me at visiting there as a kid. The units are older and this particular one, was a time capsule into the 70's, there is too much stuff in the kitchen and not enough space to cook, the unit needs some updates, we also could not sleep in the front room, since the road noise was far too loud, the loft was a good place to sleep, however, we could not sleep soundly with the bathroom vent flapping around on 2 stormy nights, lots of noise. We asked for assistance with the vent, and never received any help with it. The Cove is great for snorkeling and the grounds are pretty and well cared for. If I come back to the Cove, I will request another unit.

  Absolutely loved our time in unit 215! Description and photos were accurate. This is an older unit that could use some updating on appliances, furniture and linens but everything was clean and functional. We would stay in this unit again, as is, but would love to see some updates. The location is quiet with an intimate setting that made you feel welcomed and at home. Tucked away and private in the cove with the option to check out Napili Beach next door or take a short walk to The Coffee Store for an awesome cappuccino! We also popped over to the Tiki Bar at Kitchen 5315 (3 minute walk) and enjoyed a Mai Tai!
  Su was wonderful prior to our booking and also during our stay when our screen door popped off it was quickly fixed by a very kind gentleman. We really felt at home at the Cove and look forward to our return!

  It was appalling to see the BBQ's not having proper equipment to clean each BBQ. We needed additional new scrub brushes, spray bottles and damp rags to finish cleaning the grills. Having to cook after someone else had cooked and left the grill unclean. Putting our food on top of someone's else food just wasn't right. Ray does an outstanding job cleaning the grills every morning. The best I have ever seen.

It is up to the previous chef to clean the BBQ's simply by scrapping off remaining food to burn off. I am sorry that you would not recommend us to others.   We stayed in unit 215 which is upstairs for those of you with mobility issues. That does make for a better view. Our unit was well equipped with kitchen items, beach towels, beach toys like masks, swim noodles, beach chairs etc. It was very clean and in good condition. There were portable air conditioners both upstairs and in the downstairs bedroom and they worked fine. There was plenty of parking and the condo access is gated. It was very nice to have the public area by the pool only for guests, and the grounds are extremely well cared for. The cove is an amazing place to snorkel with so many turtles and an incredible variety of fish, but access can be challenging for those older or unsure on their feet. We didn’t have any problems but our one experience with the office was seamless. I would definitely recommend these condos and will return!

  Like being on "Gilligan's Island." In the middle of resorts, homes, and a busy neighborhood, the cove is a private, peaceful, quiet, beautiful retreat. We cut down our sightseeing trips because we preferred to stay there and snorkel and enjoy our fully furnished condo. Traffic noise was loud in the master bedroom for a few hours every night but stopped at a reasonable hour. We enjoyed a memorable vacation and highly recommend Honokeana cove.

  Staying at the cove was a perfect location for whale watching, snorkeling in your own cove with the turtles, day hiking the coastline, and easy walking distance to restaurants, beaches, and grocery store. The unit has a well equipped kitchen for all cooking needs and an array of local cookbooks. We enjoyed cooking on the outdoor grills provided and sharing cocktails with other guests poolside and on the grassy lawn. Quiet hours were respected by other guests to enjoy the evenings from your lanai. Management always available for questions/requests of your unit supplies. I would definitely recommend for a return visit.

  We loved being able to step across the beautiful lawn to snorkel with colorful fish and giant sea turtles on a whim. We did this often to cool off. Gas grills are positioned perfectly to take advantage of the spectacular view or take a quick dip in the pool while cooking. Our unit was well equipped and very clean. This small property makes you feel like you are in your own fabulous yard. Our only complaint was with the heat and humidity which only Mother Nature can fix. An air conditioner in the bedroom would have made it much more pleasant. I would recommend this property to a friend with that warning.

  We had a wonderful time. The only thing that I could complain about is that the condos have no air conditioning. Fans were provided and local stores carry others, so not a huge deal. What a great spot. Your very own cove. Sea turtles and a lot of other life. I even went snorkeling at night. Great times.

  Beautiful location feels private and peaceful with good proximity to West side shopping, beaches, golf and larger resort nightlife. Situated so that most rooms have ocean view, but 215 is a gem! Loved the local style art and feel of condo. Being raised in Hawaii, I felt at home here. Appreciated having books, snorkel gear, cooler, and beach chairs for short walk over to Napili Bay Beach. Glad to be back at condo at end of day away from crowds. Staff friendly and grounds immaculate with red ti, blue ginger, red ginger, and palms. Turtles and fish abound in sparkling bay fronting condos. Loved it, and will be back!!

  We stayed in Unit 215 for 8 days and it was nothing short of magical! We swam with turtles every time we got into the cove (which was almost everyday) The unit was very clean and had all of the amenities of home plus some. The only complaint I have (and its not really a complaint) is the internet. We had a router but for some reason noone new the password (we asked twice) We also didn't have AC but it never got really hot and we usually had a nice breeze.
