The view from the lanai of Unit #207 is spectacular and one of the best in the complex. The king size bed is new as is the sleeper sofa bed. The very large mirror in the living room gives a feeling of spaciousness. The location is very private and peaceful.

Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just 8 miles north of historic Lahaina Town. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) & one cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

  This property is very well maintained, clean and beautiful. Each unit has a great view to the ocean, pool and the well manicured grounds. Our unit, 207, was perfect for the two of us. No A/C wasn’t a problem as it cooled off at night. The furniture is a bit dated and it would be better having a deck that’s not carpet. It rained a few days so the carpet was wet. No laundry in the unit but a coin laundry is just down the steps. We would book here again.

  Honokeana Cove is a special place, esp. if U love to snorkel. There's no sandy beach, so the water is clear. Turtles love it - it's normal to look out from your lanai & see turtles in the water. In the afternoon, they even come ashore to rest in the sun. Molokai rises from the sea in the distance, often capped w/ clouds. A shopping center less than a mile away includes a quality grocery store, Maui Tacos & a good place to get barbecue to go. Our unit was clean & nicely decorated. A full kitchen is supplemented by 3 well-maintained & well used grills near the pool. The grounds are pretty & well kept. We were sorry to leave.

  Overall, a great experience. We have stayed at HC several times over the years; each time a different unit. The snorkeling and ocean access is amazing and unique. Several walks from HK through Napili, Kapalua...stunning. The grounds beautifully kept. #207 has a mish-mash of kitchen utensils (only 2 wine glasses...they don't match...one is plastic). The new Tesla battery and inverter (for the solar panels) is directly behind #207.....very noisy in the middle of the night when the inverter fan kicks in. We will definitely stay at HK again....and be selective when choosing a unit.

  We had been coming to Honokeana Cove since 1993, but hadn't been here for the last 10 years. It was great to be back again. We particularly like the location of #207 since the lanai is shady all day. Compared to other units we had stayed in before, we were a bit disappointed with the kitchen amenities. There were no decent wine glasses for example. We were delighted to see Su and Betty again from the office. They remembered us and treated us like returning family. This property is very well managed. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We really recommend it and will be back!

  Our Hawaii vacation was almost cancelled before it began when our VRBO condo on Kaanapali Beach cancelled from under us with 2 weeks to go. A friend of mine had stayed at Honokeana Cove on a past Maui trip and recommended I call them to see if they had a condo available for our days. We were so lucky that there had been a cancellation in apt 207. As soon as we arrived we realized the Kaanapali cancelation was serendipity. This peaceful, well maintained, small resort was just our speed. EXCELLENT snorkeling with the turtles and stunning fish, protected 'mill pond' water and beautiful gardens. The staff were friendly yet not intrusive. Restaurants were within walking distance (Seahouse, Merrimans, Joeys, mama's) so we could have a nightcap and walk home! A rental car is needed and a parking spot is provided. The condo had everything you needed to make it feel like home. The BBQ grills in the garden were used 5 nights by us and were always cleaned and not too busy. I was concerned at first that there was no AC in our unit, but with the fans on and airflow with the windows opened, it was refreshing and I slept like a baby. We were so happy with our stay we booked again for September!!!

  This is our second time to Honokeana Cove and it is such a magical and gorgeous place. The landscaping is immaculately done and all the condos surround this incredible cove for swimming or snorkeling with a lot of turtles and beautiful fish. The management is very friendly as were all the guests we met along the way. A very friendly old- Hawaiian place that keeps bringing us back. We are very close to all the beaches we love to snorkel: Honokeana Cove, Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay. Honolua Bay, which is another very popular snorkel beach, is just a short drive up the road.

  Traveled to Maui in July of 2018. Our condo was upstairs and there is no elevator. If you are handicapped or have lots of luggage and can't to stairs, do yourself a favor and book a downstairs condo. Grounds are well kept. Condo was clean. There is NO air conditioning so if you don't mind heat during the day, you are in the right place. It did cool down at night and it was comfortable enough to sleep with all the fans on.
  The cove is wonderful. Lots of fish and turtles and fun to rent paddle boards and have the place pretty much to yourself. The condo is 30 minutes from Front Street in Lahaina so if you want to be closer to shops and restaurants of Lahaina, pick another property.
  We had a great time and would definitely come back again.

  Units are a bit dated and small but you can't beat the location, especially if you enjoy snorkeling. Plenty of "turtle time" this trip. Grounds are lovely and the staff is great! We will return but would rent a 2BD unit even for just two people as the 1BD's can feel pretty cramped.

  Overall a wonderful stay. Our first time here and we can tell there is a family/community atmosphere from the fellow residents.   Recently visited Honokeana Cove Unit 207. A very nice space for a family of 2-4 people. Unit was very clean, plenty of towels, nicely outfitted with dishes, pots, and utensils for meal preparation. Beautiful view off the lanai overlooking the pool and Honokeana Cove. The unit is a little bit dated but still very lovely, homey and very comfortable overall! Sue, the Property Manager was delightful and she was a pleasure to meet. Everything was in order, she was super helpful and genuinely improved our stay here. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The Cove and all the turtles are truly the highlight of this quaint little hideaway! We will be back! Mahalo

  I have stayed at Honokeana Cove several times over the last 15 years. It always feels like coming home.
  This time the cove was perfect for snorkeling everyday we were there - calm waters and sunny days.
  207's bathroom was recently updated and is very nice. The kitchen is small with undersize oven and dish washer. Also, the lighting and electrical setup was confusing. I was always trying to figure out which switch worked which fan/light. - that is why the 4 stars.

  Excellent location. The unit was very adequate but could use some additional kitchen utensils. I do think that the unit should be rated for 2 or 3 people only, not 4. To me, the loft should not be included since no closets were available for use (owner had both closets padlocked).

  We had a truely lovely stay in the beginning of November 2015. We came here for our honeymoon at the recommendation of my aunt. The location was great. There are so many nice restaurants nearby. We loved going to the Sea House for breakfast and happy hour. When it came to snorkeling, we were amazed by how great it was right there in the cove
  We saw so many turtles, fish, and eels. We had more fun snorkeling there than anywhere else we went. The condo unit was really nice with a great view. Really the only negative thing there was the mattress in the unit was much firmer than we would have liked.

  I booked 2 wks at this property because of these reviews. Gardens are immaculate however property is on busy hwy with traffic 24/7.... As bad as Manhattan! Could not sleep even with cotton in my ears. Second week a wedding party arrived taking over entire place. No lawn chairs after 7:30 am!

    Aloha Maureen, I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. Unfortunately your timing was bad. The big wedding party had over 8 rooms with over 25 people. That is unusual for us this time of year. It is hard to have a large group to be quiet since there are so many of them and they were here for a wedding and a reunion. The road noise is not quite as bad as Manhattan! I have had many guests stay in unit 207 and you are the first to complain about the road noise. There is a woman who comes for 3 months in the winter and she has been coming for over 27 years and she always insists on staying in unit 207. I would sure like you to try another stay with us and please call me before you book so I can look at the reservations that are already in place to insure no large group will be here during your stay. mahalo for your review, Su

  Honokeana Cove was recommended to me by someone who owns another of the condos. The unit and property was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The cove was lovely, especially snorkeling right next to giant sea turtles. I was very surprised by the loud noise of traffic in the bedroom. I may not return to Honokeana Cove unless there is a unit where the traffic isn't so loud. I could hear buses, trucks and other vehicles in the night and morning. That was really my only complaint. The management was friendly and helpful. The area of Maui near the Cove was over developed for me. I generally prefer more natural settings. I am not sure if I would recommend this property to a friend.
