Unit 119 is ocean front and truly you cannot get much closer to the Cove and the water. This unit has extraordinary views of the Cove turtles, spectacular sunsets with breathtaking sceneries for photo taking from the lanai. This unit has been home away from home for our returned guests – some who have been coming for 30 years and others for their first time. Come and see for yourself and you won't want to leave this property. There are BBQs to cook your meals, relaxing without the hustle and bustle going to a restaurant. Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just 8 miles north of historic Lahaina Town. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. Experience Old Hawaii in one of these 38 low-rise units surrounded by luxurious tropical landscaping.

The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) & one cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

Free Parking for one vehicle. No Resort Fee. Hawaii taxes remitted by Honokeana Cove Rental Association LLC, Tax ID 067-626-5984-01. This unit has ceiling fans for temperature control.

  Our week at Honokeana Cove began and ended with us sitting on our Lanai, marveling at the beautiful rainbows arching over the sea while we observed the astonishing array nature provides this little spot of paradise. Turtles came to rest directly below us in the afternoon sun, they bobbed in the sea, swimming lazily, often paddling over to greet delighted snorkelers. Honokeana Cove must be one of the most wonderful places on our planet.

  We absolutely love this cove. We were enjoying our stay, it was quiet everyone was talking and getting along. The second week the entire experience shifted. Families came and did not respect anyone or the wildlife in the cove. The children were throwing large rocks into the cove. We had to police our space! This is not a place for families. I have been coming to the cove on and off for 26 years. Was disappointed.

  Lovely location to hear and watch the waves crashing on the seawall and follow the sea turtle heads as they pop up in the surf. Management is very helpful and friendly. We found the kitchen wares sparse which proved challenging but when I mentioned this to the manager, she ordered what I suggested right away. I am looking forward to using these the next time I come.

  We've stayed in this resort 2 past times but not in the Summer. This Unit is Not the one to have in a Summer stay. It had NO A/C. We had friends who stayed in a Similar Unit 114 we booked for them. It had 2 Portable A/C. Our Unit had 2 fans. We could not stay in our unit from 1 pm to 6 pm. We had to go to our friend's unit 114 that we reserved for then to do any cooking during those times. We decided to let our friends have this unit due to their health issues. The Unit was very clean and updated. We had no choice in travel times for family reasons. Our son with Grandkids stayed week before in a corner Unit without A/C but it had great airflow from extra side windows. OK during non-summer months.

  We loved our stay at Honokeana Cove right on the water. We could watch the turtles climbing onto the rocky shore below our balcony, as well as the amazing sunsets. The resort is homey and the managers in the office were so nice and friendly. After snorkeling with the tropical fish, giant turtles and a purple octopus, we could hop in the heated pool! Our room was beautifully updated and spotlessly clean. King size bed was super comfy. I would highly recommend this quiet cove to relax and really put you in touch with the beauty of Hawaii.

  Honokeana cove is extraordinary! As a first time snorkerler it did not disappoint—an astounding variety of fish as well as sea turtles.   Location, location, location! The property sits right on the water facing a cove filled with many species of fish and lots of Honu! Many of which make their way on the rocky shore to rest in the afternoon. The rental office manager is the best! Su always makes us feel like ohana when we visit, which has been over 20 years now and is one of the reasons why we keep coming back! The rest of the staff are wonderful as well, Betty, Ray, Nelson, and Scott. The accommodations are not luxurious but are clean and very comfortable. Each individual decorated by each unit’s owner. Where else does every condo have a gorgeous view of the island of Molokai. Located in Napili and is very close to a grocery store and several restaurants. Honokeana Cove is our happy place!

  I've been lucky enough to stay at the Cove a few times now, and I have to say that unit 119 is my favorite! The unit is very nicely remodeled with nice appliances and good supplies in the kitchen. The turtles come up to snooze on the rocks right below the lanai. Great view of the sunset. It does tend to be pretty warm in August and September with direct afternoon sunlight, but I imagine in the cooler months it's the BEST.

  Setting overlooking the cove where you can watch the turtles come up on the rocks to sun and hear the waves. That was the best part. Unit itself is a bit dark inside and the kitchen is woefully deficient in cooking and even eating utensils! It was a challenge to cook dinner and make cookies -- guessed on proportions and the Teflon pans were scratched and scary.

  A great alternative to staying at a fancy hotel. The grounds are extremely well-kept, the unit itself is clean, cozy, and comfortable--with a spectacular view of the cove. Nice touch with the tiki torches every night. Great snorkeling with lots of turtles and good diversity of fish in the cove. This was my second time at Honoeana Cove--will stay here again next time I come to Maui.

  Our unit was perfect! We have stayed at the cove several times and absolutely love it. Unit 119 was very close to the water and we saw turtles daily swimming and resting on the rocks. the unit was clean, great shower, very comfortable king bed and a view the cannot be beat! Always beautiful colors of the sky and water! Easy walk to Napilli Beach, we enjoyed the Slack Guitar show at the nearby resort. The Cove is a way to get away from large resort crowds and enjoy easy access to cove, pool, and peace! Office staff are helpful and knowledgeable about local sites. Beautiful landscaping and pool. I can't wait to get back to the Honokeana Cove!!

You can't beat the location which is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Kaanapali and Lahaina so it feels secluded and peaceful but is only a short drive away. Each unit is only steps away from the water where the snorkeling is amazing with green sea turtles everywhere. Or you can just relax on a lounge chair by the pool and enjoy the spectacular views of Molaka'i. Each unit is individually owned and each has its own unique feel and view of the Cove. Su and the entire staff are professional and courteous and treat their guests like Ohana. Honokeana Cove is no ka oi!

  We loved our stay at the Cove! Unit #119 was the best! This private property and location of the unit meant that there was no foot traffic in front of our unit and it was very private. The property was clean and well maintained, with all of the amenities we needed. Now, you will not be on a sandy beach, but we didn't expect that. There was a stone walkway and steps down to the rocky shoreline, which was a big help, but it might be a challenge for some people who aren't really mobile to get into the water. However, sandy beaches are within easy walking or driving distance. The only other feedback I'd give would be to let the tenants know when the cleaning crew would be expected. We had a long stay with one cleaning and the knock on the door came as a surprise... But boy, did they do a great job! The crew swooped in and tidied up the place in nothing flat and were really thorough.
  
  I've already talked up the property to everyone I know and have no reservations about recommending it. The staff was friendly and competent. The place was better than advertised and a wonderful respite.
  
  I'd also recommend a couple of restaurants: the Gazebo is the best breakfast place on Maui and is within easy walking distance. Mama's Fish House in the central region is a must for fine dining. And the pupus (appetizers) and drinks at the nearby Sea House from 2-5pm is a great value. There were too many great places to eat to list here, and in general Maui businesses know how to do customer service (Duke's and the Hula Grill's Barefoot Bar come to mind). I'll be back - and I'll definitely stay at the Cove. What wonderful experience!

  This is our 13th trip to the Cove and our first stay in unit 119. Awesome location and the interior is nicely remodeled. Watching the sunsets from the lanai is just breathtaking. When the conditions are right, the snorkeling is incredible and there are sea turtles everywhere you look. Honokeana Cove is a perfect location and there is no other place like it. Su and the rest of the staff are wonderful and one of the reasons why we keep coming back. They treat you like ohana! The Cove is our home away from home!

  This is the only place we care to stay. We book year after year. If you like to wake up to a glorious view and quiet, this is the place. Most people here have been coming for many years.   We love unit 119, with the view and the privacy. We stayed a few nights in 105, and although the unit is nice, it was too noisy by the pool. Also, guest who stayed above us were noisy at all hours and the manager had to talk to them--make sure you make it clear to those wanting to rent that this is a family, quiet place, not a party place! We love snorkeling in the cove with the turtles!
