Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just 8 miles north of historic Lahaina Town. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection.. All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) and a cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

Free Parking for one vehicle. No Resort Fee. Hawaii taxes remitted by Honokeana Cove Rental Association LLC, Tax ID 067-626-5984-01. This unit has air conditioning in each of the two bedrooms; there are also ceiling fans.

Pool not accessible. Tiki torches did not get lit 2 nights. Some kids got on property who were not staying there.

  We were happy with all the kitchen equipment, the Large microwave. Lots of baking pans, bowls, etc. Happy with the beds which were very comfortable. Suggestions would be to take some of the recreation equipment out of the master closet and take down the curtains in the small master bathroom that have mold on them and replace with opaque Jalousie window panels in the lower set of windows.

  Condo 105 is lovely! We were very comfortable there. The master bath is a bit on the small side but works great; the guest bath is quite a bit bigger. Kitchen is a tight squeeze with 3 adults in it...beds were very comfortable. We had a few mornings of rain and it was lovely to wake up to the sound. I love love love the living room and the big glass windows looking over the cove.
  
  The one thing I do wish the condo had is some hooks for hanging up swimsuits...either some in the shower/s and/or on the lanai.

  This two bedroom, two bath condo is a little piece of paradise. Facing the cove as well as the condo pool and grounds area, the lanai gives you a picture perfect place to view sunrises, sunsets, people activity, water activity all while sipping your morning coffee or your afternoon/evening libations. The condo is cozy, airy, beachy and comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with necessary items to prepare meals in. Overall, an absolutely lovely spot to getaway. Beaches are walking distance, as are local eateries and other amenities and shopping, although a car is almost a necessity.

  I love this place. It was our third time Staying here. We are coming back again! However, we will not be booking unit 105. We have stayed in several other units that were just beautiful, decorated with aloha, tasteful clean and updated. This was not the case with unit 105. The couch needs updating, the closets are cluttered with personal items so there was not much space for our suitcases, etc. The bathroom in the back room needs at least some hooks for your towels or clothing, because that bathroom is VERY small. However, the updated beds were comfortable and one bathroom is nicely tiled but the bathtub is in need of replacement.The location is fabulous and the view from the Lenai of the bay is wonderful. You are steps from the pool. We had a great time!

  My husband, myself and our two adult children spent 3 nights in unit 105. The condo itself was comfortable and adequate for the four of us, I loved the full wall of windows looking out to the cove and the spacious lanai. The kitchen was modern and updated though it was a little tight. We did not cook but it seemed to be well stocked. Both bedrooms had enough space. The bathroom in the master bedroom was small and could be updated. The condo was bright, modern and decorated colorfully. It was very clean but the two chairs in living room could use a reupholstering . The pool and the cove was literally steps from the door wall. The condo property was great! It was not too big and I think that was a great advantage. It felt more like a small community. The property was meticulously cared for. The flowers and plants were beautiful. We loved snorkeling in the cove. The fish and sea turtles were plentiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

  We had a great time reuniting our family in Maui at Honokeana Cove. Again the complex was impeccable (although full). My only reservation is the unit we had, while well equipped and updated had some maintanence issues. The drains were in desperate need of unclogging and the bamboo floors are warped and "float" as you walk on them. Odd and takes some getting used to. The other issue which has nothing to do with the unit is that the entire complex is built with mostly screened wall which is great to catch the breeze at night but you also hear everybody walking by and talking or the neighbours TV or conversations. This is only an issue when the complex is full (ie Christmas), otherwise it would have been a fully satisfied. But the location is awesome, the Cove is a secret gem for snorkelling and paddling and we will return.

  Loved Honokeana Cove. Our unit, 105 was beautiful and perfect. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Only issues were the pool was closed for 2.5 days of our 4 night stay. We were on vacation and had we known the pool would have been closed we likely would have made other plans. We discussed with Crystal and she said it would be passed on but we never had a response. Take note the beach chairs are under the beds. Everything else was wonderful. No complaints at all about our unit. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Would have been all 5 stars except for the pool issue. Turtles turtles turtles everywhere. Great snorkeling cove.

  The view from the condo is not exaggerated in this photo--it's amazing. We saw many turtles in the cove and whales in the distance. The only negative was the noise from the neighboring units. Since there is no glass in the windows, there's no way to shut out the noise from the neighboring televisions.

  Complex is small, Cove is fantastic for snorkling, several large turtles!! Rocky beach only. Our unit was very nice, however kitchen very very narrow only one person at a time in the kitchen.   Our second visit and it's tempting to give a scathing review to turn people away to improve availability. We've looked at and done online research of other places. Sure, the big name resorts have it all including huge prices and cowds and competitors similar to Honokeana Cove just don't have the location. This place just feels like home. Beautifully maintained grounds, easy water access (shore is rocky, not sandy), terrific office staff and resident management. We are booked for 2016 already and feel lucky to find a place. I don't see why they advertise- word of mouth will sell this place out.

  Great location right below Napili, and every unit is only ~50 feet from the water. Any hotel would bill these as "Ocean Front"!! During our stay whale season was in swing and you could see plenty of tails flapping, breaching, etc while sitting on the patio.
  
  The landscaping is beautiful, the on-site staff are very friendly and helpful, and you can walk down the stairs and right into the cove which is home to many turtles.
  
  Units are a little on the older side, but if you go in with that in mind you can't beat the location. Along with being slightly older units...you can hear your neighbors quite easily. I've stayed here before and will definitely return!!

  We were very happy with our stay at Honokeana Cove. The view was fantastic! We were just steps from the pool. We were far enough from the road to not hear any traffic. The beds were comfy. I would come back again in a heartbeat! There were some things we didn't like - 1. the fridge in this unit is on the same wall as one bedroom and is not insulated so it can be heard all the time from there. 2. the rocks on the shore present some challenges getting in and out of the water to snorkel. But the snorkelling is AMAZING! there are sea turtles in the cove and you're right there swimming with them. Unbelievable!

  Going to 'The Cove' for 16 years so I have a prejudice. Not a better place to stay in the Napili/Kapaula area. Video tour of each unit in the rental program so you should have no surprises. Outstanding snorkling, good place for kids and family to have fun. Ain't a party harty place, which is good, but to comsume a few adult beverages and laugh with friends and fellow travlers, is good!
