Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just 8 miles north of historic Lahaina Town. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection.. All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add Hawaii tax (17.416%; 17.962% effective 1/1/2024) and one cleaning fee to all rates. Specify your total number of guests of all ages for an accurate rate quote.

Free Parking for one vehicle. No Resort Fee. Hawaii taxes remitted by Honokeana Cove Rental Association LLC, Tax ID 067-626-5984-01. This unit has ceiling fans for temperature control.

  This was my 14th trip to Hawaii, and we were absolutely delighted with our stay! Our last several trips were in the area but at different condo communities. Honokeana Cove is a smaller community with friendly guests. The Rental Manager, Su Campos, was very communicative and accommodating, and is well loved by the homeowners and guests alike. There were enough BBQ grills for all to enjoy without a long wait; the salt water pool and surrounding area was sparkling clean our entire stay, with plenty of lounge chairs to go around. Our unit was very clean upon move in and we were very pleased with our unit. I highly recommend Honokeana Cove and we will return!

Unit 104 was recently refurbished and it was very nice. The grounds were immaculate thanks to Ray and his staff. We have snorkeled in the cove on past trips, but you get a different perspective when they are at your front door. Couldn't ask for better hosts than Sue and Betty. Everything including the room, bar b ques, laundry, all in immaculate working condition. Even the plants had signs in front of them so we could actually know what they were.   My husband and I had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the accommodations. My husband missed not having air conditioning but I was comfortable with the cross breeze. Our unit came equipped with one beach chair, 2 umbrellas and a cooler. The snorkel equipment was ok...could be replaced. The location was perfect with snorkeling in the bay foot steps away with tuns of sea turtles . A local store near by and walking trails along the beach. We rented paddle boards at 808...which drop off and pick up. There are gas grills located by pool...and the staff was friendly. We had an awesome...we’ll be back!!! Aloha

  We stayed in unit 104 and it was the best place we stayed over the three weeks we had in Hawaii. This place was recommended by friends and it was just perfect for what we wanted. The snorkelling was amazing and we saw turtles every day. On the last morning we saw 8! The complex is small and the guests really friendly. Check in was easy and quick and so was check out. Our unit was the 1 bed 1 bath and was fine for the two of us. Any more and it would have been pretty tight though - There’s not a lot of storage. The beach was only a few metres from our door and the cove is really protected. We watched the sun set over the cove every night and felt the stress melt away. We loved it! Highly recommend.

  104 was somewhat lower quality than some of the other Honokeana Cove unites we've stayed in. The kitchen, it's appliances and equipment all need updating. The bedroom fan, even on low speed, is noisy.
  Our biggest complain is the fact that over the time the 'Stone Girls' have been coming to the Cove we've seen a deterioration in the coral. The quality,variety and proximity to the water is your biggest draw. Consequently I urge you to adopt a policy of encouraging people to use 'reef safe' sun lotion with signs on the property, notices in each unit and perhaps free samples of 'reef safe' lotion.

  We have been staying at the Cove for quite awhile now and this visit was fabulous as usual. The condo needs a little TLC, but we understand that the owners were coming soon to do some work. Loved the use of beach chairs, ice chest and lots of great kitchen gadgets. The toaster baffled us and we couldn't get it to work-made toast in the oven, LOL. Dishwasher is kinda funky, but again, it worked and all was good. Staff responsive to all questions and needs. Love Honokeana, thanks for sharing your condo with us.

  As this was our twelfth visit to Honokeana Cove, we obviously love everything about it. We've stayed in most of the units over the years, and every one is a gem. Clean, comfortable, quiet and serene, the Cove pulls us back again and again. The property is lovely, with beautiful landscaping and well maintained facilities. Su and Crystal greet each guest with lots of Aloha and make every booking and every stay all the more special. The Cove itself offers some of the best snorkeling on the planet. Shopping and wonderful restaurants are close by, but not at the Cove itself, enhancing the feeling that while you're there, you are truly home. I can't recommend it highly enough, for us it is perfection.

  The Cove is a beautiful location were sea life abounds. We were too late for the winter whale season but still caught a few glimpses of some blows a few breeches, and a tail or two. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and it felt like a cozy little neighborhood of friends. We were surprised there was no air conditioning in the units but it was not too bad when it cooled off in the evening. We were in unit 104 and were awakened every morning about 5 a.m. by the noise of the sprinklers thru all our open windows. It was very quiet every night except the last two when I think the residents of the home on the adjoining property started running their a/c. We listened to the roar of their a/c compressor (just behind the property line fence)all night long! We found the units to be very well equipped kitchens but most unit furniture is old and dated. The bed was okay but after 2 weeks we were ready to be home comfortably in our own. We would return to this property again in the future to enjoy the snorkeling in the cove and the peaceful ambiance of this little neighborhood.

  It really is a well kept secret and a great location. Some of the regulars are very protective of the location. They like it being less known. If you could walk out and see a rainbow across the cove most days and swim with green sea turtles any time of day, you would want to keep it to yourself too.

  This is our 2nd stay at Honokeana Cove and we'll be back. We snorkeled every day and there was always something new to spot - turtles, eels, beautiful fish and even octopus! The reef inside the protected cove is quite lovely. We were lucky that the unit was available to arrange for a late departure time, giving us an extra day to snorkel. We spotted whales in the Molokai channel breaching. Su and the staff were very helpful. Grounds are immaculate and beautiful. The view is picturesque. The only "con" is that cell phone coverage was low in our unit, but better outside by the pool - allowing to "unplug" on vacation. Very relaxing - wish we could stay longer.

Did you notice the bell on the tree by the water? It is used to alert our guests when someone sees a whale; it gets rung quite frequently during whale season!   I knew going in I would struggle with the lack of AC, and I did (but I accepted that). What I didn't like was because of the lack of AC, all windows and shades had to be open, which created a lot of noise from everyone else in the complex. So, there was never any "quiet time" except when I was trying to sleep. I loved the location, and would stay there again if I wanted to swim with turtles. However, 3 nights was clearly enough for me. I think 2 would be have perfect.

  We were so pleased to be able to return to Honokeana Cove after several years and see that the entire property is still well cared for and beautiful. The unit we stayed in, #104, was a nice quiet location. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes & glassware as well as picnic / beach ware. Daily we were able to snorkel the cove and see green sea turtles (honu).

  The most breath taking time of our life at Honokeana Cove. This isn't a hotel rather 38 condos all with water views of the Cove. Steps from the beautiful private bay for snorkeling and beautiful rainbows and sunsets. Honokeana Cove is a very desirable place to engage with the turtles for their guests. There are no public access for non-guests. Truly a magical complex.Once you have visited the property you will want to come back.   We have stayed in many different units at Honokeana Cove and this one probably has one of the least awesome views. Due to an angled wall on the lanai, you can only see a portion of the Cove from the unit and the lanai. However, it is only 5 or 6 steps out to the grass and convenient chairs where you can see the ocean and all the way to Molokai. The unit was nice and quiet and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very well-organized, which is not always the case in rental units. As always, the cleaning staff and office staff (Sue) were awesome. There is no place better than the Cove!

  If you desire a peaceful, restful location this is it! The cove is fabulous for snorkeling, even for a novice. There are abundant coral reefs dotted with a myriad of feeding fish and even more spectacular are the turtles.
  
  The units are not new but ours was comfortably outfitted, the bed very comfortable, and the small kitchen more than adequate. The lanai was a delightful place to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds from the first cup of morning coffee to sunset.
